The V8 TWIN hood has very large 8" ducting to ensure adequate airflow maximizing thermal transfer. When heat is an issue, nothing short of 8" will provide the required airflow to minimize lamp heat transfer to the environment. The V8 TWIN socket assembly allows for placement of two lamps in parallel. Now you can run multi kelvin lamps and reap the benefits of mixed spectrum.
